I found this recipe in a magazine years ago and forgot about it for quite some time. It’s easy and yummy! Serve it with your favorite marinara sauce as a dip.
20 oz. package cheese ravioli (or other preferred flavor)
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/3 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 9×13 baking dish.
Drop ravioli into 2 quarts boiling water and boil gently for 6-8 minutes, just until tender (cook al dente for crispy texture after baking). Drain ravioli and lay on paper towels. Pat dry.
Transfer ravioli into large bowl. Drizzle olive oil and toss gently to coat well.
In medium bowl, stir together bread crumbs, parsley, oregano, salt, garlic powder, pepper, and parmesan cheese until well-blended. Sprinkle mixture over ravioli and gently toss until coated.
Add ravioli to baking dish in single layer. Bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned and crispy. Cool slightly. Serve and enjoy!
This ravioli dish would make a great appetizer. But it’s also very kid-friendly. They don’t even need forks! Eat with hands and dip into a small bowl of marinara sauce. Try it for dinner sometime soon!
